Perky Hat

What You Need:

Masking tape

Fuzzy towel

Large white paper plate

Crayons (of several colours please!)

Child safety scissors

Stapler

Ribbon

What You Do:

1. Press strips of tape onto a fuzzy towel; then, lift them off. (This makes the tape less sticky)
   
   
2. Lay the tape in a pattern- or at random- around the paper plate. Colour over the entire plate with crayons.
   
   
3. Lift up the strips of tape to reveal the "uncoloured" pattern.
   
   
4. Make a cut from the outside edge of the paper plate into the centre. Overlap the edges, forming a peak, and staple the slit ends together. Staple a ribbon or ties to the sides of the hat.
