Back-seat Drivers

What You Need:

Markers

White business-sized envelope

Child safety scissors

Glue stick

Black construction paper scrap

Old magazines/photos

Cereal-box cardboard

What You Do:
  1. Draw a large car, with front and rear windows, onto a white envelope. Cut out the car's rear window (but don't cut out the back of the envelope). Glue th envelope shut.

  2. Cut out two tires from the black paper. Glue onto the bottom of the envelope.

  3. Cut out faces from magazines or old photos. Glue a face in the car's front window.

  4. Cut out a 2" by 12" strip from the cardboard. Then, glue some faces onto the cardboard strip, starting 1" in from one end and spacing faces about 1" apart.

  5. Cut a slit in both ends of the envelope wide enough for the cardboard strip. Now, pull those back-seat drivers through!
